A Clear Process from Start to Finish
1. Initial Conversation & Quote
Every project starts with understanding what you're trying to accomplish.
Some clients already have plans in hand. Others are looking for advice on layout, storage, materials, or where to begin. Either way, we'll listen, ask questions, and draw on our experience to help identify the options that make the most sense for your space and budget.
If drawings are available, we'll review them together and discuss the details that affect the final buget. If you're just getting started, we offer a complimentary consultation and site measure to help move the process forward.
Once we have a clear understanding of the project, we'll prepare an accurate quote based on the scope, materials, and features we've discussed.
2. Design & Planning
Once the quote is approved, the details start to take shape.
We take accurate measurements and develop detailed drawings and 3D renderings that allow you to review the design before anything is built.
Over the years, we've learned that the small details often have the biggest impact. Clearances, appliance specifications, storage requirements, lighting, plumbing, and coordination with other trades all impact the final result. Our role is to help identify those considerations early, when changes are easier and less costly to make.
The goal is a well-thought-out plan that will help the project to run smoothly.
3. Review & Approval
Before we start production, we take the time to ensure everyone is on the same page.
You'll receive detailed drawings, cabinet specifications, final pricing, and a written contract outlining the scope of work. This gives you the opportunity to review the project in detail and confirm that everything meets your expectations before any materials are ordered or cabinets are built. We strive to ensure you know exactly what you are getting.
Once the design and contract have been approved, we collect a 50% deposit on the cabinetry and schedule the project for production.
4. Building Your Cabinets
During this stage, our team manufactures the cabinetry, coordinates required materials and components, and prepares everything for delivery and installation. We will keep you informed of progress and provide updates if timelines change.
Unlike mass-produced cabinetry, every project is built specifically for your home. Production timelines vary depending on the size and complexity of the project, as well as our current workload. Most projects move through production within 6–12 weeks.
Before leaving our shop, each project is inspected to help ensure a smooth installation process.
5. Delivery & Installation
This is the stage where the plans become reality.
Once the cabinetry is complete, we coordinate delivery and installation with you and any other contractors involved in the project. Clear communication helps ensure everything proceeds as smoothly as possible.
Our installers take pride in their work and understand that they are working in someone's home, not on a construction site. We strive to be respectful of your space, approachable when questions arise, and attentive to the details that contribute to a successful installation.
6. Final Review & Completion
As installation nears completion, we review the project with you to ensure everything meets expectations.
Cabinet doors and drawers may require final adjustments, and occasionally minor touch-ups or small details need attention once everything is in place. This is a normal part of the process, and we work through these items carefully before considering the project complete. If there are any outstanding details, we will communicate clearly and follow through on our commitments.
The project may be finished, but our relationship with our clients doesn't end the day the installers leave. We stand behind our work and offer a Limited Lifetime Warranty . We are always available if questions arise in the future.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
We are a cabinet manufacturer and we like to focus on our area of expertise. Our goal has always been to do one thing exceptionally well rather than trying to be everything to everyone.
That does not mean your project needs to stop at cabinetry. We regularly work alongside contractors, designers, and other trusted trades, and can coordinate the right people to create a complete renovation experience.
-
It really depends on the size of your project, the materials, and how many other projects we already have in our queue. We typically like to have six weeks for production, but whole home cabinetry packages will take longer.
Contacting us as early as possible ensures that we have time set aside in our production schedule for your project so your cabinets will be ready when you need them.
Similarly, the time required for installation will also depend on the size and complexity of the project. A vanity can be installed in less than a day, but a kitchen can take 3-5 days. Often we need to return after other parts of the project (flooring, counters, etc.) are complete.
-
Payments are divided into three stages: an initial deposit before production begins, a progress payment at delivery and installation, and a final 10% holdback once the project is complete.
-
Yes. We design the cabinetry itself, including layouts, measurements, material selections, storage solutions, detailed drawings, and 3D renderings.
Our focus is on cabinetry. While we are happy to offer general guidance, we do not provide full interior design services such as selecting paint colours, flooring, tile, furnishings, or décor. These selections are typically made by the homeowner and/or their designer.
We frequently work alongside designers and decorators as part of a larger renovation team, and are happy to put you in touch with someone if you need assistance making selections.
-
No, we only build new cabinetry. This way we can confidently warranty our products.

We offer a range of cabinet construction and finish options, including melamine, plywood, painted finishes, wood veneers, and solid wood.
There is no single "best" material for every project. Each material has its own strengths, and the right choice depends on your priorities, budget, and how the space will be used. We are happy to explain the options and help you make an informed decision.
