Limited Lifetime Warranty

At Casa Flores Cabinetry we take pride in our work, and stand behind the quality of our products. As such, we warranty our products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Under this warranty we will, at our option, repair the cabinet in question or provide a replacement for any defective part at no charge.

The following are excluded or limited in some way:

• Any damage caused by accident, misuse, or lack of reasonable and regular maintenance is not covered under this warranty. This includes: dents, nicks, scratches or abrasions that occur due to normal use; damage caused by use of harsh cleaning products (cabinets should be wiped with a damp cloth only); and damage caused by heat (eg steam from a kettle, heat from a candle flame, etc)

• The color of the wood and finish may change during the lifetime of the product especially with certain wood species (cherry, walnut, etc.) and with exposure to direct or indirect sunlight and other factors (eg. smoke, moisture, household cleaners). The color change (mellowing) occurs in both the finish and the wood and is part of the natural ageing process and is not to be considered a defect or damage.

• Natural wood products will experience expansion and contraction in reaction to changes in temperature and humidity throughout the year, and therefore a certain amount of movement in solid wood panels will occur and is not considered a deficiency. In the case of painted wood doors, this movement can result in cracking of the finish along joints. This is an inherent property of wood, and the cracking in the paint film shall not constitute a flaw in the product. In addition, any excessive warping, cracking, shrinking, or joint separations resulting from insufficient or excessive humidity in the area where the cabinets have been installed is not covered under this warranty. Relative humidity of 40%-50% should be maintained throughout the year.

• Any damage to the cabinets or peeling of the finish caused by water is not covered under this warranty. Spills, leaks, and drips should be wiped dry as soon as they occur.

• This warranty does not cover cabinets that have been changed or modified in any way

• Normal everyday use may require doors and drawers to be adjusted periodically. This is considered normal maintenance and is not covered under warranty service.

Accessories, components or parts that are not manufactured by Casa Flores are not covered under this warranty but would be covered under their own manufacturer's warranty. This may include but is not limited to decorative hardware, storage accessories, etc. Hinges and drawer slides have a lifetime guarantee.

If components are replaced under this warranty, Casa Flores cannot guarantee that the finish of these replacements will exactly match the finish and appearance of the components in the original application. This is due to the changes that occur during the cabinets’ natural aging process, as explained above.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by others or beyond the control of Casa Flores. In addition, we will not be responsible for any incidental or consequential damages incurred as a result of defects, aside from our promise to repair or provide replacement parts as stated above. In any event, this warranty is limited to the value of the defective product.

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

Coverage begins at the date of invoice, however does not come into effect until all product is paid for in full.
